Kessils killing my corals?

I switched from T5's to 3 360w's . I Thought I should keep the intensity down low and the color down towards blue for the first couple of days. I'm told now that the blue is actually more intense? and that acclimation time should be much longer? I'm still not sure of the reason but at around the same time, I lost a beautiful large gorgorian, 3 different large colonies of Xenia and a goniopora. Are these corals that would be affected by the lights more than others? Am I acclimating the lights improperly?

I don't know much about Kessils but with any LED the idea is to always do a slow acclimation over time, with all colors. And not just a few days, weeks and more. A controller helps.

Kessils are good lights also intense...You just have to observe the corals under them and adjust as you see the corals responding, either more or less. You may have had them too intense for too long. I hope you can get them adjusted and not have any more losses. We all have had similar problems at one time or other.

Thanx, guys. Toning them down and will be installing my APEX today and slowly ramp up the lights. Just wondering if the Xenias are known to be more susceptible to intense lighting then other corals

I can't remember but I think they like fairly strong light.
