LED Recommendation
I have a 150 gal, 5ft x 2ft x2ft tank. Mixed reef leaning toward LPS but would like more SPS. My only requirement would be automatic dimming. What do you guys like?

I'm currently running two AI Hydra52s and a AI Director on my 4' x 2' x 2' tank. Love it so far great control, corals are growing very well.

I would second the 52's....I had the standard 52 and it packed the punch and color to grow anything. I will be grabbing hydra 52 HD's with my next upgrade to a 80-100 gallon.

Since everyone so far has recommended Hydras but not how many I will chime in with "3" as the minimum. Shadowing is your biggest obstacle.

Good point mark! I have 3 prime's over my fusion 20 with one on each end angled 30 degrees so there is overlap. Makes a world of difference!

I concur with the 3 as a minimum recommendation. I am planning to use 3 or 4 on my 120. My 60 cube has 2.

Gees, for the cost of one, just one of the AI Hyda 52 fixtures you can get a ReefBreeders Photon 48 AND keep $100 extra! Or you could get two Photon 24 or three Photon 16 (also OceanRevive, EverGrow and ReefRadiance versions) and they are $100 to $200 less per unit.
I have two IT2080 fixtures (a 32" version of the Photon 48) over my 6' reef for 3 years now. I've used t5, MH and Eco Tech Radion leds and I'd never go back to t5 or MH and the Radions , like the AI Hydra 52 are just plain over priced in my opinion. This tank had four 250 watt MH and four 39 watt t5 before the switch to the IT2080's. Coral growth, health and color is just as good as it was before. This is what my tank looks like now, after just being fragged to make room for more coral growth.
