Adios Bubble Algae

I've been fighting with aptasia in my tank for a while now and I finally followed steps from a local reefers thread, http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forum...ad.php?t=36190, to exterminate the aptasia. I cut the formula in half, 40g lye and 500ml RODI. After applying the 2N NaOH solution to the aptasia I turned it on a small patch of bubble algae that had been growing on my overflow teeth. I went out of town a day later and when I came back I was surprised to see no more bubble algae. I had completely forgotten I applied it on the algae so it was surprise that it was no longer there. This was 2 weeks ago and I haven't seen any since. I'll keep an eye on it for a while to see if it resurfaces but so far so good!!
