that for sure looks like bryopsis. I'd recommend raising magnesium levels, skimming wet and perhaps getting a rabbit fish or tang to help get rid of it.

The tank pictures look like GHA, but what you have isolated there surely looks like Bryopsis, just to add to the previous post, it's not just raising magnesium levels, it's specifically using Kent Marine Tech-M to raise the mag levels, do a search here, there are lots of threads on this subject,,,Good Luck, btw this method worked for me, so I give it the thumbs up.

Thanks a lot. I have been fighting it forever. Already cut my feeding, been using gfo, water changes , and manual removal. My mag has always been on the low side, but I didn't care because my all and ca levels have been stable. Increasing mag is my next step. I'm feeling relieved that there is a possible solution. BTW, my phosphates are 0 per my Hana checker.

Try the Mg treatment, but if that doesn't work, consider a Foxface or other Rabbitfish. In my experience, they have the most varied herbivorous diet and can keep such things in check. BTW, your phosphate and nitrate levels may read falsely low due to algae consumption. Might want to consider new export strategies.

I have to do the same soon. I have the same issue. I keep knocking small patches back with epoxy, but it just shows up elsewhere.
