I am getting ready to set-up a 4.8 gal AIO pico reef. My plan is to use a AQUAMAXX reactor, and 50% weekly water changes to keep nitrates, phosphates, etc., under control. My question regards using GFO or BioPellets. This tank will be SPS, with maybe 1 fish. I am looking for feedback on which media is better for the reactor, on this type of tank. I have also considered the Zeo method. Thought it might be too much for this size tank. Let me hear what you think. Thanks, Bob.

For such a small tank I think zeo would for sure be unnecessary. Honestly, if you have the time, water changes are your best option for a tank that small. But if not perhaps a very small amount of GFO could work.
