Is my 8w gamma UV even worth messing with?

So, I have this little 8w gamma UV from current USA that I've used for over a decade. I'm thinking about redesigning my plumbing to be more efficient.

Is it even worth the effort to mess with this thing? What's the word on these old gamma UV units?

8w for a 55g plus all your water volume? No, not worth messing with.
