Settled on a skimmer - finally

Ok, so I think I'll be purchasing an Aquamaxx/JNC CO-3 skimmer. The reviews seem pretty good on it, so I guess it'll be a good starter job for me.

My question is, are there any sales going on or coupon codes available for a retailer selling these? I've done the Googling bit, but I'm not finding much, and I haven't been in the game long enough to find the hidden/insider deals. Maybe someone is running a Christmas sale?

I don't know, I'd just like to save a few bucks if possible. Thanks everyone!

I got mine on a black friday deal from marine depot. If you have time, sign up for their email alerts and see if it goes on sale.

That is a cool looking skimmer but those tiny little cones on the bubble plate are going to be a pain to clean when it needs to be done.

Sometimes when creating an account and/or signing up to their email list some retailers will send you a welcome coupon code.

It's a great skimmer for the money. Just don't buy it from Big Al's. A lot of people including myself have had problems from this dealer. Also take a look at the lifereef. I sold my JNS for a lifereef and am very happy.

Yeah, I bought some nylon pipe cleaners just for that purpose.

Marinedepot hinted that they were going to have a little sale on them by the year end, you can see it for your self on their forum.

Aaaannnnndddd, of course it's not in the CO-3's. CO-5's and 6's? Sure we'll put those on sale! 3's? Hell no. Se la vi.
