New to hobby
Hello my name is Mack ,and I'm new at this , I have a Juwel record 600 ,63litre iT is now just finished cycling, and I would like to get my clean up crew , and maybe my first couple of corals , can I do this at the same time ?? Or is it best to wait before putting the corals in , I would like too put 2 dwarf hermit crabs in and maybe 2 shrimp ,...1 pistol shrimp and 1 fire/blood shrimp in with 4 snails !!!
Do the clean up crew count in the bio load of the aquarium??? Obviously I don't want too overload the system , I started with dry rock and live sand , I now also have 2 small pieces of live rock in for the coralline algae , so I know I must build it up slowly , Any advice will be welcome thanks Mack .! |

We have a big file for you: it's called SETTING UP, and it's in the stickies. Yes, corals can go in early. Match them to the lighting you have. SOfties are easiest. Cleanup crew don't count, unless excessive. About 6 dwarf hermits, a few snails, nassarius if you can get them; and I'd say 2 shrimp are fine, but I'd get the same species---just less chance they'll harm each other. That tank should hold gobies, blennies, maybe a basslet, and do very well.
