My mushroom is glued on a rock that is sitting at the bottom middle of my tank. my old aquascape was amateurish so it looked clumsy and out of space for anything but now i understood and corrected and my tank looks pretty empty and has lot of space. Advise!!!! suggestions please !!!! |

You could add another firsh or two - perhaps try and pair your clownfish an/or a perching goby of some kind, like a Yellow Watchman.
As for corals, what are your lights like?

Ah yes actually, I was forgetting you had barebottom. A watchman would not be happy.
As for corals, if your corals right now are healthy and flourishing then it's safe to try some more complicated stuff, as long as all your levels are under control

hi Phil yes all my corals seems to be thriving and i spot feed them once a week .Any suggestions for complicated corals????
I also feed my emerald crab everyday whenever i put my pipet with meaty food or nori sheet he will just grab my pipet and he lets me touch him while he is eating.. i love that guy but if i miss one day i guarantee that i see one hermit die(thats what happened when he first came to my tank) he started his hunt at night and as i started spot feeding him he is happy... |

One more question. while attaching the coral frags to the Live rock i removed the plug almost completely but safely and also applied super glue and pressed underwater .
The issue is in this attempt some super glue dried faster and started floating in the water. After ~18 hours i started seeing minor diatom bloom is it because of the silica from the super glue that got mixed and also attached in the attempt? |

You could try a small SPS frag near the top, some Acans, cool Zoanthids, etc. Lots out there!
Emeralds can definitely get cranky without enough algae around to eat - but that's not a bad thing! I doubt the superglue had anything to do with the diatom bloom. Check your phosphates and do a water change and you should be fine

ORA Birds Of Paradise Birdsnest WYSIWYG 4
Can i add this to my tank? Top of the large rock gets the most light and also the high flow area. I have AI hydro 52 hanging 30 inches from the bottom of the tank(12 inches from the surface). this is my first time with SPS.. so wanted some advise.. |

Yes, that's a good starter SPS.

I do not recommend adding any more fish or invert. you don't need to push the bioload to the limit of what your tank can handle. Less chance of running into any problem.
