Day 3 already detecting nitrites?
I have 96g tank Red Sea reefer 450. Using dry rock and dry sand.
I cycled using ammonia 3 days ago. My ammonia was between 2-3 ppm. Today I tested ammonia and it's at the same amount but nitrites are at 0.25ppm. I was surprised to see nitrites so fast. Nitrates are at 0. Ph is at 8.0 and temp is at 79.9. Salinity is at 1.0260. Is this normal to see nitrites so soon? |
