Tank is doing pretty good, I'd say. Added a Flame Angel and two Bengai Cardinals. Two weeks ago. However I lost one of my Anthias. Could tell something was off with him..would swim around with his mouth open and wouldn't chase food. It was odd.

Had a double Mag 12 failure earlier this week. That was a project and the closest to a tank disaster I've been. One was my return pump, the other my chiller pump. They cut off after one of my leak detectors noticed my skimmer collector was overflowing...but they wouldn't turn back on. I'd plug them in (even a completely different outlet) and nothing would happen. Thankfully my Apex notified me...it was 11:00 a.m. on a Wednesday. It would have likely been 7:00 p.m. before I would have noticed on my own. Just weird they wouldn't turn back on...

Anyway, tank is doing good. Also need to figure out a better way to stick coral to my live rock than superglue. After a couple days, they just get knocked off and I find them sitting on the bottom of the tank...

With lps and sps, use coral putty and super glue. Apply glue to frag, then putty, then more glue. Press frag into rock to get putty into rock and hold for a minute.

For softies like zoas, I would suggest either put on coral plugs first with super glue or apply frags on rocks outside of water.

Oh wow, it's been longer than I thought since I last posted.

Tank continues to do well. No significant additions since I last checked in...I'm still kinda spooked after the Powder Blue Tang I added took down my Green Madarin & Potter's Angel. I really would like to add another larger fish, but that close call has me gun shy. I do have 3 small Firefish now, but added those around the time I added my two Bengai Cardnials. So it's been a good 4 months since a new tank inhabitant was added.

Anyone think I can get by with a Powder Blue Tang? Would love to have one! Below are some pics of the tank today.
