Thanks. I researched it some more last night and I think it will be okay too. I left some space between them and the glass. I think they are more likely to bow from the weight of water anyway. I should've had glass cut for them anyway but just forgot about them and had some extra acrylic laying around. I will see how it goes and if I need to change them I will.

Well I had a leaked that connected the two sumps. I would fix one side and the other would leak. Just a small drip but enough to annoy me. Although I liked the look and the design as well as using pieces and parts laying around I decided to scrap the idea. Small space to work in and to many variables to go wrong. Decided to order a 18x18x15 trigger systems sump. Got that yesterday and modified the plumbing a little last night. Hopefully be good to go now.

Finally added water today. Everything running perfect. This overflow is great, super quiet when running, huge difference from my main DT.

The Bubble Magus Zeovit reactor isn't really ideal. For starters the pump mounts directly underneath the cyclinder so there is no way to control the flow. The pump it comes with is way to strong as well. Zeovit requires a certain flow rate based on tank volume and for mine it is only about 41 gph. On top of all that this size reactor was too big for the new sump. I decided to make some modifications. I pulled the pump and used a barb connector and permanently attached it to the base, sealed it, and ran tubing to a new adjustable pump. I also added a valve. Basically changed it to an external reactor and working great.

Home Office-Rimless Frag Tank Build

Update a year later. I decided against just a frag tank and made another display. Love this tank now.
