Advice on birdsnest coral post dino infestation

Just went through a fight with dino that I have under control after a month. Didn't realize my birdsnest was covered until too late and am now left with what is is the picture.

What should I do?
Cut off the white, probably dead part?
Just leave it alone and hope it comes back?
Frag the living pink part?

The dying off was definitely due to the dino. I used no chemicals and the part that is white was that way before I start aggressive lights out, siphoning, etc for the dino.

Thanks
