Cool Does Anyone Have a Red Sea Reefer Setup?

I am looking at offering Red Sea Reefer setups for all of my leases this year, but I'm looking for reviews of real people.

Anyone have experience with these? Thanks in advance!

Im setting up a 450 now. Cant give you too much yet other than the fit/finish of the tank and sump is extremely nice. Plumbing is great too. Filling her this weekend. I must say looking at it tho the rimless style really scares me. A lot of trust on those glue seams!!

I am considering buying the black 450 next week for the same reason, looks good, and has a lot of nice stock features that come along with it.

Let me know how it goes if you remember. I would be looking to do an existing tank transfer, just wondering if it will need a cycle period again even though I will be literally using the same water, sand, and live rock from a 6 month old tank.

I have a Reefer 350 and really like it. The biggest gripe I hear is about adjusting the water flow so it doesn't gurgle. But once you get it dialed in it is deadly silent. There's a Red Sea section here if you haven't already seen it with a lot of specific info on their systems.

Ok, thanks for letting me know, I'll check out the Red Sea section.

I just finished setting up a 170. I'm very pleased with it so far!

I've had a 250 reefer up since October and love it. The tank and stand it self looks great, and it is silent once you take the time to figure out the overflow dial. I do wish the sump was a little bit bigger on the 250, but on the 450 I don't believe you will have that problem.
