Seeding QT
It's been a while since I've had a QT running and I completely forgot what I'm doing. I plan on filling the QT with water from the DT and seeding it with ceramic rings I've had sitting in the sump.
About how long before the tank is ready for fish? The rings are inside of an Aquaclear HOB filter. Thanks.

As long as the rings have been in the sump for a while, the QT should be ready right away.

your QT should be fully cycled as soon as you put the bio-rings in.
