Non-permanent method of securing aquascape?
Is there a putty-type product that is reef safe that will help stabilize my scape? I don't want to cement it just incase I need to move things around/ catch a snarky fish. Balancing and praying don't seem secure enough lol
Don't have masonry bits to drill and use acrylic rods. I'm hoping for a lower cost alternative. TIA! |

JB Waterweld will work and can be broken apart easily enough.
I prefer to use gravity to hold my aquascape together

I make sure my rocks are mechanically stable and then add a few strategically located blobs of putty. I use the D&D stuff, but waterweld works just as well.

another gravity user. Takes practice, but it's like a drystone wall---you stack em so nothing much can shake them down. Just occasionally a piece can be 'improved' by gluing two, but generally I pick rocks that have dozens of ways to fit.

Mine are fairly stable... But I'm worried about an urchin or giant snail or something hitting it just the wrong way to topple it over.
Mainly worried about the top rock on the left. It balances okay but just doesn't 'sit in' as well as I would like it too |

Heavy duty zip ties work well. Just snip them when you need to move a rock.
