What would you consider this LPS coral?

I bought it for 90 bucks at my LFS.. It has some pink, red, green and blue in it. Would it be considered a rainbow? Was the price good for what reefers have seen out at other stores?

Thanks

I was looking online a at first thought it was a folded welso but I think your correct. It's just hard finding a price on this guy.

When I first went into the store, the lady said 145 and I moved on. I come back a few days later and its still there, and the owner comes up (he knows me from a friend) and tells me 90. Persistence is key lol

Nice piece, but I wouldn't pay any more than $60 for that. Some of us do have deeper pockets than others, but my gosh don't go overboard, especially for a perishable item. GL.

Nice, looks like a folded brain as others have already stated. Ninety dollars seems like a pretty good deal. I'm going to be looking for a "rainbow" Trach soon. If the colors are right it makes one hell of an LPS centerpiece IMO.

Wow I didn't know you could get these guys for that low. I need to shop where you shop and then I can get lots of stuff with my deep pockets

Yeah, I saw Live Aquaria has them from 100 to 199 depending on color.. I just wasn't completely sure if this was one of them...

Also this store is a reptile store and the owner has only been doing saltwater for maybe a year so not too many people look there. Im not sure how much toxic hammers go for but I got 2 big heads for 40. Sounds like a good price to me and my deep pockets lol

You get coral so cheap in the US. We'd be paying double that in the UK :-(

I think I bought this one for about $25 dollars eight or nine years ago. It doesn't have the turquoise splotches/streaks like yours does, but it's pretty much the same thing. They go for about $35-$40 now. Inflation... Sometimes you'll see something similar to what you have show up, but John doesn't seem to jack up the price due to the variation. There are other stores in my area that will take you for a ride though. GL.

Yes my old tank had one kinda like that and I think I paid 50 bucks for it at about that size. So It is similar in price.

This one is four colors and decent sized. All the tissue was in tact and no skeleton was showing. When the lady told me 145 I was ready to laugh at her thou..

Heck I see ones around her that are just green which everything is green in most tanks and they were like 80 bucks for them.

Mr petman here has the biggest folded metallic green welso that is like a soccer ball size for 110. I thought that was a pretty good deal..
