I am about to do what I believe will be a significant upgrade, so it will be interesting to see if the tank does indeed show any improvements. FWIW, new skimmer might also prevent gradual decline, which will be impossible to measure.

Thumbs up

Well it's been about 2 years, so I'd thought I'd update:

The MRC Orca Pro 2 has been running since I received it. It is a beast!
Due to AEFW, I'm tearing everything down to re-start. I'm planning a different sump filtration, as I want more of my garage space back.
Looking back on this, I probably would have been just as happy with an Orca Pro 1, Vertex Alpha 250 or a BK.
I say that not because of performance, but because this thing is 3' tall, and I'm trying to cut back on space!

However, anyone looking for an MRC Orca Pro skimmer, they are fantastic. Flawless for 2 years now. No leaks, no startup headaches, no pump issues, no overflowing...and very quiet for it's size.

Is that the same as the ATI 250?
