57 Gallon rimless build
I've read so many build threads here on reef central that I decided to start my own today. I'm going for a tiered look mixed reef. I'd love some input from the community. Starting with the following goodies:
57 gallon rr deep blue rimless tank and their "complete plumbing kit" 36"x18" cabinet by deep blue 20 gallon high sump (Could and should have went bigger) 2100 gph Rio return pump AI Prime lightingx2 Hydor 800 and 240 gph arag alive 40lbs 25lbs of dry tonga shelf rock 25 lr from my frag tank and countless trips to the hardware store |

What kind of corals you plan on keeping. Looks like a good start. Had that same tank before.

Hello,
I am thinking about the same tank. between a few. can you post pics of the tank for me? how much it was. how is the silicone. how big is the over flow area kinda looks like it takes up a lot of space. dems plz great build i'll be fallowing! not sure 2X AI primes will do the trick for you. might think about something else..I thought they only covered about 12"? I could be wrong tho.. |

Nice setup! I think you'll enjoy the 2 Prime LEDs on this tank. Only issue I had with mine was not being able to tighten the ball screw enough to hold the light in place firmly.
