Apex Help!

Ok, so enough is enough... Every single time my power goes out, which lately has been often. My skimmer overflows sending the entire collection cup back into the tank and a huge foam disaster downstairs...

So, here's what I need to do...

If power fails, and restores, how do I have the skimmer pump NOT COME BACK ON until say, 5 minutes has passed since power the power has been restored. If anyone can chime in I would greatly appreciate it!

Thank you!

Fallback Off
Set ON
Defer 005:00 then ON

? That will do the trick?

I use similar program to defer my Tunze ATO and Skimmer after my return pump comes on.

If FeedA 000 Then OFF
If FeedB 000 Then OFF
If FeedC 000 Then OFF
If FeedD 000 Then OFF
Defer 05:00 Then ON

It will just fill the container. I have. PM skimate collection camber on my skimmer with a float switch to shut down the skimmer if it does fill.

My program. I have the skimmer stay off for 30 minutes after feeding.

Fallback OFF
Set ON
If Outlet Return_Pump = OFF Then OFF ( this way if I shut the return pump of for maintenance the skimmer doesn't overflow)
If FeedA 030 Then OFF
If FeedB 030 Then OFF
If FeedC 030 Then OFF
If FeedD 030 Then OFF
Defer 002:00 Then ON
If Power Apex Off 001 Then OFF
If S-SKIM CLOSED Then OFF

That will work I also do a code for when I turn my return pump off than on. That way the skimmers not running while the return pumps off.

So

Fallback off
Set on
If outlet return_pump = off then off
Defer 005:00 then on

So the skimmers off when the return pumps off and will turn on 5 minutes after you start the return pump back up.

Obviously your name for the return pump may be different so just change the "return_pump" to whatever you named it.
