what should/ could i do with my fuge?

As of now i only have macro algea and small pieces of LR.

If you have 5-6" in height free, you could add a plastic container filled with very fine ("oolitic" I think is the fancy term) sand. If you Google "Deep Sand Bed" you'll find plenty.
In summary a DSB is great at running the nitrogen cycle, as like your live rock it fills with critters and bacteria.
Unlike your LR, 1. the critters turn the sand and 2. the bottom of the DSB is oxygen depleted, so the bacteria that do their thing anaerobically can do their thing there.

Oh, but if you do that don't make the mistake of buying one of those sand sifting sea stars. They eat the little critters you want in your DSB.
