Fluval Edge 12 Gal Lighting Upgrade
Hi all!
I'm wanting to upgrade my Fluval edge light soon as I plan to convert my freshwater edge into a nano reef, however I am not sure about which light I should go for. I want a light which will allow me to grow some corals. I've been told that the standard 42-Led light supplied with the tank will not be enough to allow any coral to grow, is that correct? What are the ideal specs of a light? How do I attach the light to the aquarium?7 Thanks in advance, and sorry for so many questions! |

I am seeking to do the same thing. The light that comes with the tanks are white LEDs. Would be nice if we could find an add-on actinic strip. I think I found one on Amazon for like $25 that I can velcro.

I'd recommend fluval halo led - I'm using the same thing grows coral really good and have different settings - only downside it's not automatic but you can overcome it by using timers
