ATI Powermodule Issue

I have an 8 x 24 Powermodule that is currently only firing the four middle bulbs. The two on each end are not lighting at all. Before I start taking it apart, any thoughts on what to look at first?

Thanks.

I would post your question in the ATI Powermodule thread here:
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=2274338

That will probably get you the fastest answer assuming you can't find your answer by searching that thread.

Thanks!

It appears that is for the hybrid (T5 and LED) specifically.

Check the black box for loose internal wires

Yes but the T5 side should be very similar if not the same. I'm certain if you don't get an answer here, somebody in that thread will be able to help. That said, if you moved the bulbs from one side to the other and verified it's not the bulbs, I would assume it could only be a couple other things. Wiring, connections or ballast. It should be easy enough to swap the ballast from one side to the other to verify that. This is an assumption on my part since I don't run these fixtures but having a lot of trouble shooting experience, a T5 fixture would be very easy. Especially if you already have one half that is working.

Thanks again for the assistance and opinion of the situation. I will post in that thread and see their thoughts.

For additional clarification.

1 (Does not fire)
2 (Does not fire)

3 (Fires properly)
4 (Fires properly)
5 (Fires properly)
6 (Fires properly)
7 (Does not fire)
8 (Does not fire)

As a reminder, bulbs 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8 are on one power source, and bulbs 3 and 6 are on another.
