Wave Point t5 bulbs Good or Bad?
So like the titles asks, do any of you know if this brand is good or cheap? I know that ati is probably the best way to go but my fixture has these in there. Another question i had, is i always see people asking for lighting combos, i want a blue look to my tank so the colors of my coral pop but my main question is, do we need the sunlight bulbs like the white ones? Or can i trade those in for like a coral + or purple+ ? Sorry for the noob questions. And i have a 4 bulb fixture and a 2bulb retrofit. Thanks in advance for any input!

Hi there. It may help if you provide some info on your tank and what type of coral you are planning to keep in it. Not a noob question at all btw.

Mine was given to me for free, lucky me. But the price seems to be about the same online as ATI.

For a bluer spectrum you'll want to be in the 20k range. The corals you mention will do great under 20k. Make sure you give the galaxea plenty of space. Long sweeper tentacles and very strong sting to other corals. Giessmann also makes nice bulbs.

That's exactly what I'd tell you to get. Corals will look great and you'll get great growth

I run a wave point coral wave. Saw one at Ali's shop and he recommended it. It's a deep purple, more than a purple plus
