Lawnmower Blenny Eating Zoas

I am concerned that my Lawnmower blenny pick at my zoas. I have had this lawnmower blenny and a pair of clownfish in their current tank for around 7 months. They are the only fish in the tank. I just recently added two small colonies of zoas. The lawnmower blenny is the largest one I have ever seen; he/she is around 5 1/2 inches to 6 inches long. I am concerned that it may pick at the zoas and then cause them to release their toxins into the water. If anyone has any experience with this please tell me.

Thanks

I've had a lawnmower blenny for about two years in my reef. He hasn't ever touched anything. Are you feeding often enough? I feed my tank twice a day I notice when he starts getting hungry then he will start picking at the rocks and glass

I hardly ever feed him. He prefers to graze on the natural algea on the rocks and glass. He does not accept anything but the seaweed on the veggie clip and even then he will not touch that for hours. I'm not concerned for the zoas sake I'm concerned that the lawnmower blenny will bite something he shouldn't.

He may be just getting Algea off of the Zoas . It's hard to say . He should be fine .

I would think he would be poisoned eating zoas. I honestly think it's eating already between the polyps.

To clarify he has not been eating the zoas I just wanted to make sure that he would not.

I would be surprised if he eats them. Probably trying to get the algae between the polyps like dentdominator said.
