Marsaqua question...
Ive been using Marine Orbit 24-36inch for a few years now but I'm looking to get some better LED's for my tank. Ive seen/read about the "black box" LED's as being a good bang for the buck.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/165w-MarsAqu...kAAOSwKtlWscx- I don't like the idea of hanging a light and in my apartment I can't do that anyways so while i was interested in the light I linked above... Does anyone have opinions or experiences or advice for these Marsaqua lights?? http://www.ebay.com/itm/36-48-IR-Rem...4AAOSwoydWlNvD |

Look at reef radiance. They have a mounting solution you can customize to these lights

Plenty of Youtube videos of people making different hanging options.
Couple examples : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_edB0NmAsOk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Lh58Uocq2g I'll be making my own out of metal conduit and bending it to create a "L" at the top. I'll be spray painting it black and drilling holes to add I bolts. I'll secure the conduit by clamping it to the back of my stand. Basically I'm doing what the guy did with wood in his tank and making a L with metal conduit which I can get 10ft long piece for around 2 bucks at lowes for half inch and around 6.00 for inch. I'm not sure how thick I want to go yet. I'm sure there are dozens of ways and sometimes you just gotta be creative and use your mind. So basically my top will look similar to this but extened out further. Last edited by Ou8me2; 03/30/2016 at 03:26 AM. |

Ok thanks for solving the mounting problem with the 165w mars aqua. How does the 72w long light compare to the 165w light?
