Protein skimmer for my 300 gallon?

Hi all

Im almost finish setting up my new 300 gallon + 50 g sump FOWLR.
I cant seem to decide which kind of skimmer to go to.
A friend recommended on the new bubble megus B10, anyone here using it?

I also looked at the Bubble king skimmer which people say is the best, its pricey but is it really worth it?
Also i see the vertex got excelent reviews.

Im a bit clueless here and will be very happy for advice.

Cheers

BTW im setting everything by myself.

BK series should be the one . Look for Scott of Royal Exclusiv, a nice and good guy that will guide you all the way to your needs.

Choosing a skimmer is like choosing a wife to be (unless you always find divorce is something thrill ) , just contact Scott , surely you will find the one that is right for your tank!

I didnt really define a budget, i guess better work for the money.
Im not sure BK or Vertex justify the price, although im sure its good.(Bubble megus is about half price)
whats more important to me is long term skimmer that wont break as the pumps are very expensive.
which is more reliable for years?

in addition im gonna add a big ATS as the sump in designated room.

If you want a skimmer that will last go with Lifereef. Most skimmers get updated and pumps get outdated. You will have a problem finding a modified needle wheel pump for a specific skimmer 3+ years down the road if they last that long. The best part of a Lifereef is ANY PUMP WILL DO. Within a specific gph flow that is. It is easier to replace a $100 MAG, RIO, JECOD, etc. Than to replace a modified sicce needle wheel.

Lifereef, as tall as you can fit...equals more contact time...equals more crap being pulled out

I love my Bk. It took a lil bit to dial in but I really like it. I had a sro5000int(which I'm selling now) which was really good for the price. But I upgraded aquarium sizes and the 5000 won't do my 900g tank. Even my BK is a lil undersized but it works really well still.
