Please help with dead spots????

75 gallon...I am currently running two Jaebo pp8s in ELSE mode...directly across from each other... i do have them on a slight angle down as you can see in the picture. They are both directly in the middle of the tank a few inches down... hitting my main rock good and creating good water flow on surface... I am having some issues with dead spots on each end of the tank, right directly below each powerhead as you can see.. Any ideas on how i can improve flow in these areas? i like these two powerheads where they are because the rest of the tank is good.. I do have a couple other basic powerheads... I have not added them because I am not sure if they will be over kill? any ideas? is this avoidable? or should I add two more powerheads? and if so, where? thank you..

You could add more powerheads, but i was having the same flow problem with rw-4's on my 50 lagoon. I purchased a maxspect gyre xf130 and now there are zero deadspots. Extremely good flow from this pump, especially for long tanks.

I would first try pointing them straight ahead and then offsetting them so they are not centered. (Maybe have one positioned closer to the rear glass and the other a little closer to the front.) It might help create better circular flow around the tank reducing the dead spots on the ends. Maybe even lower them a little bit too.

You could always offset them a little so that their flow isn't colliding with each other. You could also put both pumps on the same side in else mode and create a gyre that way.

Wow, I put the two together this morning, about two inches below surface and I can not believe the difference in flow, it us a gyre on else mode. Top of tank flows one way and bottom the other. Others should try this. Much better then each hitting each other in middle, thanks for the suggestioms.
