changing carbon
How often do you guys change out your carbon? I've got mine in a filter sock in the sump.

I would change more often since its in a filter sock. The carbon may not be expired but the detritus build in the tank isnt good for your tank

I took my carbon and GFO offline recently. I think its helped with my nitrate issue since the buildup is no longer there.
Water is still pretty clear.
