Does anyone else have any info on .017 salinity? I have read this a number of places, just wondering what others experiences are, and if it's safe to do w/ corals and inverts?

Is it possible for fish to have flukes during hypo and if so can I that with Prazipro or should I wait until the hypo is finished and the salinity back to normal?

Hello Mike,

Hope you are still monitoring this thread. I was wanting to know what my PH & Alkalinity should read while in hyposalinity. I went a little over board with the DT. Gutted it. Ordered new rock from Aquarium Artists and put all the old rocks in a large Rubbermaid can to continue fallow measures. Took apart the sump and bought all new hoses. I want my fish back in their home. I quarantined my pyramid for 8 weeks. Never saw any signs. But he is mostly white and yellow. Took several months in the DT before I saw spots on his darker face! Grumbles.

Note to self, treat all light colored fish as if they have parasites!

Shelley
