Rescaping my 125g tank this week - any ideas?

I'm having my floor redone, so this was an opportunity to do some upgrades to my 125g reef. I'll be updating the stand, lighting to Kessil A360 (3) and well be rescaping the rock.

I'm interested in any ideas or suggestions out there.

As you can see my tank is rectangular with overflow in center.

I'll also post what we finally come up with and would love any ideas.

Mike

How about 2 islands instead of one wall of rock , maybe some caves or rocks on far end of each side of the tank

There is a good article about aquascaping on here that might help u along with bunch of tanks pics

Just set up my 150 and really tried to use the "rule of thirds" to give my scape that eye-appeal factor. Hope that helps, and good luck!

I agree. Move away from the wall look.

I agree, I prefer breaking up a wall in favor of islands and swimming space...if you have the narrow 72" x 18" tank like me, I find it pretty hard to 'scape due to limited depth. Here's my 125G Aquascape-bit of an old pic but just to give you ideas

Well I have completed phase one of the project. New lights (kessil a360), rescape and some new corals. What do you think?

Looking better but still a little cluttered, maybe relocating some rocks to the sump would clean things up a bit

Here's mine. Kept it minimalistic for more swim space.
