Resetting reef tank

So we have decided to reset our tank and want to keep the LR since we have a good amount and it wouldn't be cost effective to ditch it. We're going to use the bleach and muriatic acid technique to clean the LR but I was wondering if there is specific brand/kind of muriatic acid that is best situated for this purpose and how dilute should the solution be? I know for the bleach it should be 10:1 but I haven't been able to find a quantified ratio for the muriatic acid.
Thanks
