Twigs growing from live rock

I've searched a few "hitchhiker" and pest links with no luck identifying these twig-like growths coming from my LR. They brownish/white and can be found all over my tank. They seem to be affecting my corals when they're near them.

Any idea what they could be and how I can get rid of them?

The pictures aren't showing up for me, but if I had to guess I would say Vermetid snails.
