It's just a sponge. In most cases these are harmless, but there are some species that have been known to smother corals before. Being that it's on a plug with some GSP though, you might want to let them just fight it out.

Lol, I must be the exception to the GSP rule. That was my first frag and it hasn't spread at all since I got it. I've got several other types of corals that grow like mad, not the GSP though. Good to know it's just a sponge. Maybe I'll move the frag and see what happens. |
