Hahahaha! I should stop and read sometimes. That's funny. I was wondering who has acans in their tank and doesn't know it. Then I was wondering how no one else could identify. Lol.

not sure how no one can see that... but looks like red bubble algae to me.

I see red blobs that could be anything from cyano, to bubble algae, to musrooms, to coralline algae, etc.

touche i can agree with you there.. my first look told me bubble algae and I always go with my first instinct

How does it feel to the touch? You should be able to tell right away whether it's some type of algae or something else.

no worries, I can see how it can be tough to ID with all the other possibilities out there. Realized I shouldn't have been so confident in my post as it could possibly be anything you mentioned as well.
