I don't know if I would use a Quiet One pump as I read a few reviews of these pumps catching on fire.

Those mag pumps run hot and wattage is high. I have a couple still running and trying to phase them out.
Bought a few jebao dc products and dosing pump with no complaints yet. The jebao dcs return pump might be something to check out. So cheap buy two of them and always have a back up. |

Mag pumps are crap. I hear dc pumps are the way to go. Jebao pumps look good. I have a rio 2100 , rio 1700, and a quiet one 4000 which are working great and they're quiet. I've heard a lot of trash talking about rios but I've never had a problem with them

I've had my Jebao DC 12000 running for 1.5 years now. No issues at all. Very very quiet, and obviously you can control the flow rate. Thumbs up from me.

the mag drive 18 is a noisy pump unless it has absolutely no head pressure and does require you to use 1 1/2 return line. this will make some quieter but dialing it back with a ball valve will make it only louder.. I have one i use on my mixing station because of this.
any good brand pump as mentioned above will suit you well. just be careful to not over power that over the top over flow box..
