Flow Question
I am currently running a 425 and a 240 gph Hydor in my 20 gallon nuvo fusion tank. I have lps and sps. I have a guy selling a barely used vortech mp40 for an unbeatable price. My question... Is this mp40 going to be too much flow for my tank. If I got it, I would take the hydors out and only use the mp40. Please advice would be much apreciated.

I agree that will be too much. MP10 or you could do a RW-8. Just for reference I am using a RW-8 in my 20 long QT and it moves water like crazy and it's only on the 3rd light.

You can always turn down the flow. And when you decide to upgrade to a larger tank, you still have a capable pump.

But who knows? Could Work, mp10 would be a much better choice though.
