Jebao RW4 pp-4 with reef keeper?
just wondering how i can use my reef keeper to control my Jebao power heads instead of the one that comes with it (its not exactly the best working interface lol it doesnt seem to ever want to come out of night mode). Im trying to clean up my stand wiring and trying to control everything from my Reef Keeper. anyone have any thoughts on how to do this?

Honestly with a Reef Keeper is not worth it imo. You will need a DCI, this connects to your Jebaos. Then you will need an APC which allows the DCI to connect to you ReefKeeper. These 2 modules will cost you somewhere between $175-$200. Now if you have the Archon all you need is a DCI. With that said I have a DCI Im about to post in the for sale section if you interested still.

I love the idea of having an Archon but my current set up is a reef keeper lite(i got it dirt cheap and i mean dirt cheap lol) that i have added on to (SL2v2) and an extra power strip. how much are you looking to get for the DCI, i think it will be a better move in the long run as i really dont like the jebao driver.
Off topic.. how much do you like the Archon, is it worth it? ill be setting up my 120gal hopefully with in the next 6 months. maybe ill pick one up to run that tank? |
