Brine shrimp tank
OKAY folks, now it's time to discuss my dubious and horribly scheduled feeding habits. I DO occasionally feed them these tiny little pellets that they may or may not eat. I much rather feed meaty foods and seaweed strips. So i thought to myself, Brine Shrimp Hatchery tank. I bought a little cheapo 5 gallon tank, some sand and a rock, and now have it set up under the tank. I'll get photos when i get back home. I also got some stock up top-
FoxFace Rabbit (no spot) Royal Gramma Basslet (Elvis) Ochre Cardinal (Geronimo) Sand Sifting Star (Not yet named) And i moved my Finger Leather coral in, as well as a tiny piece of GSP that hasn't spread in the 3 months i've had it, a Pagoda Cup, and several Palys. |

Rock Rebuild!!
So... I ended up hating the anvil that i built originally. So i changed it yesterday.
[IMG][/IMG] I also realized the triple return pipeline i rigged was causing a lot of sand movement, so i went back to the old return. Anyone have any creative ideas for DIY return flow nozzles that do a better job of redistributing flow without decreasing the GPH too much? |
