Any ideas on this pink/purple sand?

It's only by my rock with coralline on it. I was starting to think it was red slime algae, but now I don't know. Any thoughts?

Most likely it's cyano bacteria.. You may want to have more water movements n try a black out for a few days and see if it will goes away...

As mentioned above - Cyanobacteria - a very normal part of any and all systems, especially when new. Increase flow and siphon it out when you do water changes. I find that it is seasonal for me. In the fall it seems to appear, by winter it is pretty much gone. It's been that way for 25+ years now. I just ignore it for the most part.
