Dry rock turning into live rock.
I have dry rock being seeded by some live rock. Just started this tank 2 weeks ago. I am starting to see some orange coloration on the dry rock. Should i be seeing this or is this not a good thing?

that orange spot will turn into algae or diatoms. its all part of setting up a new system.. very commonly described as new tank syndrom

you will see different colors as the rock slow cures in the tank all part of normal cycle.
