20 gallon sump/Refugim, long or tall?
I am building a sump/Refuge for my 75 gallon tank. Is there a pro or con to a long or tall 20 gallon sump?
Just asking? |

Long, you want horizontal space more than you want vertical space.

Long, definitely. Tall will be way too cramped

20 gallon sump/Refugim, long or tall?
I hate my 40 tall, but anything longer wouldn't fit in the door of the lame stand. I needed the tall so I'd have enough reserve space for overflow. Getting the skimmer out for cleaning is tough. Next tank, long, no question.
