Cleaner Shrimp Irritating corals
I have a red fire shrimp that has lately been causing some of the corals around his cave to close up. My torch coral doesn't like being touched by the antennae constantly so it doesn't open up as much as it used to. My green goniopora I just got is closed near the cave because of the shrimps feet and whiskers. Does this constant irritation have any negative affects and will the shrimp eventually stop? I can't move the goniopora but the torch could be moved. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for the feedback.

I haven't been in the hobby decades or anything but in my short time my cleaner shrimp likes to dance all over my duncan coral when he is hungry and wants brine shrimp to snack on. The duncan does not like this and closes up, sometimes for the entire day. But eventually it opens up again and all has been well. In my mind this probably happens often in nature and isn't anything to worry about unless the coral exhibits signs of poor health (bleaching, tissue damage/loss/decay etc)
