ARC Live Rock
Looking at getting 40 pounds for a new build. They claim that it has half the phosphate levels of Fiji and 400% less than Pukani.
What are your experiences with it? Does it seem to filter as well as true live rock? How bad are the pest on it- Mantis, Gorilla crabs, Aptasia, and Majano?

Live rock and phosphates? I guess it could happen, but I've always thought that this was more indicative of dry rock as opposed to something that smells like the ocean. A "tag" so to say. Don't get me wrong live rock can be nothing but trouble, but if GFO is already in your budget right off the bat then I don't see what the difference is. Time?

My thoughts also. I know of a few types of live rock that are known for it, but not necessarily live rock.
