Adding pods
I just started my tank again. I started it with all live rock and sand and tested the water this weekend and the tank is fully cycled. The tank has been up for a little over a week now.
I ordered the Poseidon feast pack of 3000 pods so that I can get them introduced and reproducing before I add livestock and the official snail clean up crew. When I add them should I add food to the tank for them to eat or will they be okay without and keep reproducing? |

Odds are they will be fine, some species eat algae and detritus so it should be fine

I agree^^^. Also I usually put in some pellets for pods and CUC to eat when there is no fish in the tank.
