What is your hardiest or favorite invert?

My tank is fairly new, 5 months, and just ended its ugly stage. It was fine at months 3 and 4 so I added some crabs, zoas, mushrooms, and snails. It seemed like the death plague went around in my tank. Anyway, everything died, exept my scarlet reef hermit. He was the first thing I put in my tank besides the live rock and sand. He has withstood everything that has gone on in my tank. I was just wondering if anybody else had a favorite or very hardy invert.

Beckley area here!
My brown leg hermit crabs are the hardiest I have.
Blue legs are next, ! all are growing big!
I'm having trouble finding shells big enough for them to grow into!
