Azure Damsel dead

Bought 2 Azure Damsels online. I did the acclimation accordingly. One of them has a white dot on the head yet he was swimming and behaving normally. Next morning I found him dead laying on the sand. Was that an injury during the FEDEX Overnight shipping as he was sharing the bag with another Azure Damsel? Or maybe some disease?

Azure Damsel dead

I am pretty sure that is going to be next to impossible for anyone to answer. Having said that, damsels are by far the worst community fish I have had in my tank. Take its demise for what it's worth.

Looks like lymphocystis. Continue qt on the other one. As for damsel behavior, they need 50 gallons for one, 100 gallons for multiples. Putting any fish in too small a tank will bring up aggression. To succeed with multiples, you need to put all in close to the same time and don't mix chromis with damsels.
