Setting Question For Coral Life 48in LED

Hey Guys,

I picked up a used 48 in LED light bar from Coral Life used from a co-worker. I am saving for an upgrade since my last light burned out. It has a lot of features and adjustable settings but I am having trouble getting my Brain's and Polop's to adjust to the new light.

I have gone through the full spectrum on it after two weeks but those corals seem to have trouble still.

My previous light was an older Kessil LED. Should I keep wasting time or just bite the bullet and order a new Kessil?

Thanks!

I think a little more information is warranted here for us to give you some advice....

What is the power on the LED's? What is your light period and ramp up when they turn on? How big of a tank is this light on?

sbeason is spot on. More info about what you did and how often you did it would be very helpful.

Asking your corals to acclimate to a new led in 2 weeks isn't a bad thing... or wrong. But if you have been changing the spectrum and power levels regularly, then they've never been given a chance to acclimate.

Slow down, set it more blue than white and start with lower power levels and SLOWLY work your way up as the corals get use to it. It could take a month.
