MP40W power supply replacement?

I need new power supply for my MP40W Smart Driver.

I bought this one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just received it, and the plug doesn't fit (the inside diameter of the connector plug is too small).

Did Amazon send me the wrong item, or does the MP40W smart driver not use a 2.5 x 5.5mm plug?

Thanks!

Not off hand. Was hoping someone could tell me what the plug size is for the pump.

Oh, gotcha. For me, I ordered the one on the link from the other thread and it fit perfect. From your link on amazon, the specs are the same but the part numbers are different and they both look like they're from Jameco

Amazon messed up, actually, and is refunding me, along with $5 for my trouble, and I just have to throw away the item. I'll just go ahead and order the one in the original Jameco link and be done with it

Good to know. since you have the power supply and you don't have to return it, I wonder if you just clip the wrong plug and put the correct plug in?

Good point. But I have no idea how to splice together a single wire DC plug.

I just bought a new power supply a few months ago! Let me fund the link. The plugs are not a "standard" size.

I can save you the trouble, let me find this link...

Just reuse the power cord to the wall.
