Tank on a longer stand
I picked up a IM 30L tank, 36x15x13. My wife would like more of a piece of furniture for the stand that just an aquarium stand. I did find these two stands at Target and was wondering if you think they would work.
This is the one I'd prefer. It is 42x18.4x34 making it 3" longer on each end and 1.7" front and back. http://www.target.com/p/windham-2-do.../-/A-50760878# This on is closer to the size of the tank and is 38x15.75x30.25. http://www.target.com/p/carson-sidek...d/-/A-14388064 |

Aquariums are notorious for destroying furniture when used as stands.
If the top is solid and not made from particle you stand a better chance. You will need to reinforce any joints as they are probably only glued.
